Photo Friday!

This week and last I have been baking a lot for my Best Friends wedding shower...
so much so that this tragedy happened...

I've never had a wooden spoon break...
I've never even heard of a wooden spoon breaking...
Perhaps it is a Friday the 13th thing...

However a little piece of my heart broke with this spoon, as it was my favorite of the wooden spoons in my collection.
I think all this shower stuff is making me a little loopy, good thing the shower is Sunday perhaps I will be normal again soon!

Hope that you haven't had any baking problems or catastrophes... but if you have I'd love to hear all about them in the comments! We can laugh at our baking issues together!

Work in progress...

This weekend coming myself and a number of friends are hosting a Bridal Shower for our Dear Best Friend!
She is getting married this summer and since time is getting short we thought that May was the perfect time for a shower!

However because of  the shower almost all crafting, cooking and baking is going on the back burner... well that is except for the crafting, cooking and baking happening for the shower!
SO... posts this week will likely be few and far between (I will do my best to get up what I can as I hate neglecting my blog).
I will however be back in full swing next week with lots of Bridal Shower Ideas! and of course one big post on the shower it's self!

As well I have a few projects up my sleve for Delaney and Max's Room...
Which reminds me that I have a lot of work to do in the next few months...
YIKES

Make it Monday! Peanutbutter Chocolate Chip Cookies!

I was making cookies this weekend when I spotted a half of a bag of Peanut Butter chips left over from this recipe in the cupboard. and thought Hmmmm Chocolate chips and Peanut Butter chips in a Peanut Butter Cookie...

So I pulled out my Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe and tweaked it to bring out a few more "NUTTY" flavors...

1/2 C Butter
1/4 C PB Butter
1/2 C Brown Sugar
1/2 C White Sugar
1 Large Egg
1 tsp Vanilla
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 1/2 C Flour
Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chips

Cream your butters together. Once completely creamed add your sugars, and cream till fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, mix until fully incorporated. Then add flour and baking soda. Add Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chips (I usually just add until I feel like there is enough... But about 3/4 C each should do.)

Spoon onto a prepared cookie sheet and bake at 350 for about 12-15 mins.
ENJOY!

These are so quick and yummy and have the hint of Peanut Butter in the cookie its self but they are knocked up a notch with the Peanut Butter chips!

Give them a try! You wont regret it!
